Coffee drinkers do not increase their performance through caffeine
Those who regularly consume caffeine no longer benefit from
the performance-enhancing effects of stimulating caffeine. This is only the

Caffeine as a performance enhancer in sports
Coffee, energy drinks, some teas, and even some pain

way, reduces tiredness and sluggishness. Under certain circumstances, athletic

However, one study showed that regular caffeine consumption

performance-enhancing effects of caffeine.
Three cups of coffee a day - and athletic performance
diminishes
They tested the effects of caffeine on 18 men on a sports
team. The athletes should complete ten 40-meter sprints. Before each sprint,
they were given either caffeinated chewing gum or a decaf chewing gum. The
caffeinated gum provided as much caffeine as two cups of strong coffee.
It was shown that caffeine could not improve athletic
performance in those athletes who regularly consumed coffee, cola, or energy
drinks in everyday life. Even worse. Athletes who drank three or more cups of
coffee a day did worse with each sprint - even if they had been given
caffeinated chewing gum beforehand.
If you consume little caffeine in everyday life, you
benefit from the performance-enhancing caffeine effect in sport
Athletes, on the further indicator, who spent only a little
caffeine in everyday life, were able to keep their performance consistently
